The magic of the festive season returns to Avenue Montaigne and Rue François 1er, from November 20, 2024 to January 6, 2025. As every year at the same time, the Christmas lights will be up in the trees, sparkling in the gardens and even in the windows, to the delight of Parisians, tourists and customers of luxury boutiques.
Once again this year, the Comité Montaigne invites you to enjoy an enchanted musical interlude in front of the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, for the opening ceremony of the Avenue Montaigne illuminations.
To warm up, strollers can stop off at the Alléno et Rivoire hot chocolate cart, while fencer Manon Apithy, Olympic gold medallist in sabre, Mathieu Forget, aka ForgetMat, the "Flying Man", artist/dancer famous for his works combining dance, acrobatics and photography, and Jeanne d'Hauteserre, Mayor of the 8th arrondissement, will kick off the festivities. Rendezvous in front of the Theatre on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., and let Avenue Montaigne shine!
In addition to the beautiful illuminations (using low-energy LEDs), the Comité Montaigne invites you to continue the "Christmas Montaigne" festivities in the Maisons de l'Avenue, every Sunday in December. The luxury boutiques will welcome visitors in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with entertainment, discoveries, tastings and many other surprises!
For Christmas, Avenue Couture is decked out in lights, an enchantment you won't want to miss!
