The Christmas markets in Paris are all very well... But did you know that there are equally magical events just a stone's throw from the capital? Head for the Val-d'Oise (95) where, on December 7 and 8 2024, the Marché de Noël de Vauréal will be transformed into a veritable fairytale village to celebrate Christmas in style!
Forget the rush of Paris, here the Christmas spirit is just as glittering! 70 stalls await you on the Place du Cœur Battant and in the Hôtel de Ville showroom, with treasures to take away: gourmet products (honey, jams, chocolates, delicatessen, craft beers, pastries, cheeses, champagne, charcuterie...), handcrafted creations (jewelry, leather goods, scarves, ceramics, sculptures, fashion accessories, decorative objects, natural cosmetics...), and everything you need to fill your basket with original gifts. Between finds, recharge your batteries at the various foodtrucks on the market (mulled wine, hot chocolate, crêpes, cotton candy, waffles, fried sausages...).
There's also a skating rink, face painting, balloon sculptures and even pony rides! Enough to warm up the atmosphere and fill young and old with wonder. And let's not forget the ultimate star: Santa Claus, who welcomes you to his chalet for an unforgettable souvenir photo.
There's also plenty to celebrate with festive concerts and light parades that will put stars in the eyes of young and old alike.
