Have you been good this year? If so, you've earned yourself a little present! Santa awaits your orders: his secretariat will be open from November 20, 2024 to January 3, 2025. Young and old have just over a month to send their letter to the gentle red man, and hope to see their wish come true under the tree.
Once again this year, La Poste will travel to the North Pole to bring children's letters to Santa Claus. In exchange, Santa replies to all those who write to him, enclosing a little game or coloring page.
With such an exceptional global enterprise, Santa had to delegate: letters addressed to the bearded character are sent to Libourne, in Gironde, where 50 dedicated letter carriers answer each letter, in French or English.
But what exactly is Santa'saddress? Santa guards his secret jealously. To send him mail, all you have to do is write "Santa Claus" on the envelope, and the letter carriers do the rest. Best of all, you don't need a stamp to send your letter! However, don't forget to include your child's name and address if you want a reply from the famous character. To be sure of receiving a reply from the star of the season, send your letter before December 20.
Do your hyper-connected kids think it's old-fashioned to write a letter on paper? Santa knows how to keep up with the times, and has an e-mail address too. You can send your message via an online form to pere-noel@laposte.net.
Santa's secretariat website also features games, crafts, a pre-Christmas sleep counter, a digital Advent calendar... and a few surprises to discover.
Created in 1962, this service is still very popular, and keeps the magic of Christmas alive for children and their parents alike. A lovely tradition that adds a little magic to the festive season.
