During the Christmas season, the City of Light shines with a thousand lights, making its neighborhoods and emblematic streets sparkle. The 8th arrondissement is no exception to tradition, and this year launches the Faubourg Saint Honoré illuminations, on November 26, 2024 from 6pm. Organized by the Comité du Faubourg Saint Honoré, this magical, not-to-be-missed evening will be accompanied by the opening of the now-famous Winter Time tombola, in aid of the Princesse Margot association.
From 6pm, the neighborhood will come alive as the majestic Chezy brass band performs traditional songs, followed by the parade of the Garde Républicaine. A magical parade that will once again delight young and old alike. The inauguration ceremony will take place at 7pm on the corner of rue Royale and rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré. The presidents of the committee and the association, surrounded by their godparents, as well as a number of public figures, will launch the Christmas lights together!
Like last year, you'll discover the very latest decorations for the neighborhood, giant, eco-responsible structures (low-energy LEDs, recyclable decor...). A luminous stroll to be enjoyed to the sound of Miss Kriss 's DJ set(FG radio) until 8pm.
Regulars and the curious will also be delighted to find the famous and very chic charity tombola, which will punctuate the festive season. Until January 15, 2024, the Winter Time Paris website will be offering tickets for just €10, giving you the chance to win exceptional prizes donated by the Maisons du Comité du Faubourg Saint Honoré. All proceeds will be donated to the Princesse Margot association, , which supports families affected by pediatric cancer.
