From the delivery dock to the corridors, from the freight elevators - which were the first hydraulic elevators in Paris! - to the Magasinage warehouses, vast spaces are dedicated to the passage of works in a continuous and methodical cadence. The hitherto unknown collection of 20,000 drawings and 800 paintings being auctioned by Maison de ventes Daguerre also includes a corpus of photographs, spanning the history of the discipline from its origins to the 1950s/1960s in 300 prints.
