The Domaine de Dampierre-en-Yvelines is one of the most beautiful châteaux in Ile de France, but also the most secret and discreet. Situated in the heart of the Vallée de Chevreuse, it can be seen from the street behind its restored main gate, but also from the gardens surrounded by water.
The château can be visited by booking in advance on our website.
For the Journées du Patrimoine, discover the collections of two art history enthusiasts and the curious presented to the public: the Duc de Chevreuse, Honoré Théodoric d'Albert de Luynes, a great amateur of the 19th century, and Franky Mulliez, the new owner of the estate. The exhibition of the world's largest dinosaur fossil illustrates the shared passions of these two figures for the fossils on display in the château's orangery.
