Every autumn in Paris and the Île-de-France region is packed with events, from the women's La Parisienne race to the concerts and debates at the Fête de l'Huma, not forgetting of course the unmissable Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days). And on that front, there's a wide variety of events, including visits to museums, major institutions, castles, churches, parks and cultural centers.

It's precisely to one of these cultural centers - the Canadian Cultural Centre - that we recommend you go on Saturday September 16 and Sunday September 17, 2023, for the 40th edition of the Journées du Patrimoine.
For those less familiar with the site, we remind you that it offers a variety of events throughout the year (exhibitions, concerts, films, etc.) to immerse Parisians in Canadian culture, without leaving the capital.
Officially inaugurated on April 2, 1970, the Canadian Cultural Centre 's mission is to promote Canadian culture in France. Originally located on the Esplanade des Invalides in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, the Canadian Cultural Centre moved to the 8th arrondissement in the spring of 2018, in a splendid building renovated by Canadian and French architects Julian Smith and Jean-Paul Viguier.
