For this year's Journées du Patrimoine, discover the many cultural establishments and historic sites in your area. On Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22, 2024, hundreds of museums, institutions, churches, parks and monuments open their doors to the general public, free of charge. Some sites, usually closed, will even be exceptionally open on the occasion of this cultural event, celebrating its 41st edition.

Fancy getting out of Paris or discovering historical treasures close to home? Head forEssonne, home to more than a few curiosities... This year, Château de Villiers is taking part in the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days), offering new free events for visitors and residents of Draveil, Essonne.
Built in 1782 by the Comte de Bombelles, this palace is the symbol of the town of 91 and has had a curious history. Numerous film shoots have taken place here, and it's possible to visit it during this September weekend. And if the weather's fine, why not take a stroll in the nearby Sénart forest?
