It's one of those little corners of France that enchant all visitors. A commune that seems almost frozen in time, with its many monuments, old houses and buildings. Come and visit Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne, a small town in Seine-et-Marne on the edge of the Fontainebleau forest.
This commune is relatively new: in 2017, the three towns of Moret, Loing and Orvanne decided to join forces, to form a single, enlarged territory. In this newly enlarged town, there are many sites of interest, which can be visited on September 21 and 22, 2024, during the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days).
Like thousands of other sites in France, the monuments of Moret-Loing-et-Orvanne are opening their doors to the general public for a magical weekend. Lovers of history, art and heritage come together in these fascinating places, to enjoy the various events scheduled for these days. For the Journées du Patrimoine, the Seine-et-Marne commune is organizing tours for the whole family - and they're often free!
