The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) are one of the most important events of the year. Every year, this event, synonymous with good cultural deals, offers us an ultra-enriching weekend of visits, events and exceptional openings at the heart of our historical and artistic treasures. From museums to major institutions, museums, ministries, embassies, châteaux, libraries, churches and much more, many spots open their doors to us with a program specially designed for the occasion and often free of charge. Paris and the whole of the Île-de-France region are on board, and look forward to a 41st edition full of exciting discoveries this weekend of September 21 and 22, 2024.

The 2024 Heritage Days program at Château de Villeconin

• Visit the Château de Villeconin and its park
  September 21 and 22
  

  Château de Villeconin was built in the late 14th century by Jean de Montagu, superintendent of finance for Charles VI. The Renaissance contributed to its embellishment. Typical of the medieval period, with its keep, round tower and guardroom, it is surrounded by a moat and borders a park. This charming park, which is enriched each year, features boxwood borders and a wooded area, as well as flower beds alternating between staggered-flowering perennials, hydrangeas, shrubs and roses
  Accompanied by the owners, you will visit the guard room with its exceptional framework, the library, the Henri IV staircase and the dining room. The tour, guided by the owner's family, includes a visit to the park, where visitors are also invited to stroll freely.
