Every year, this cultural event, which takes place all over Europe, invites us to delve into the heart of our historical and artistic treasures through a wide-ranging program. From must-see monuments to secret nuggets, a host of venues open their doors to us, offering tours that are often free of charge,unusual events andexceptional openings.
Whether in museums, major institutions, ministries,embassies, fashion houses, libraries, gardens and much more, each edition offers us such a wide program in the Paris region that everyone can find a good plan to match their passion. Solo, as a couple, with friends or family, we're off to enjoy the Journées du Patrimoines, which will be held this year on the weekend of September 21 and 22, 2024.
In the Hauts-de-Seine region, the town of Bois Colombes is also showcasing its treasures! These include the Château des Tourelles, whose remarkable architecture dates back to the late 19th century. Now an art center, this spot usually features a program of exhibitions. This is an opportunity to (re)discover this spot through a program designed for the Journées du Patrimoine!
To demonstrate the vitality of this art of the multiple, a dozen contemporary artists present their artistic productions created from traditional techniques to hybrid, experimental forms of printmaking. The exhibition also features a number of major works of modern printmaking from the municipal art heritage or from private collections. This exhibition is designed to teach visitors about the fine lines left by the gouge held in the sculptor's hand, the acid "bite" marks on the copper, the remarks at the bottom of a print...
