Heritage Days at Notre-Dame-de-bon-Secours church in Bois-Colombes
In July 1870, a chapel was opened in the Bois de Colombes district, as an annex to the Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul church in Colombes. More than a year after the town's independence in 1897, the chapel became a parish church. The façade and bell tower, most of the stained-glass windows and the organ are the historical evidence of the first church, which was enlarged and renovated between 1924 and 1929. After an interior renovation of the building in 2011-2012, the organ, built by the organ builder Ernest Béasse in 1904, is currently being restored.
A discovery of Bois-Colombes' oldest public building and its organ is proposed during the European Heritage Days.
