Museums, historic monuments, castles- there's plenty to explore during the Journées du Patrimoine 2022, held this year on September 17 and 18, 2022. For a whole weekend, you can wander around Paris and the Ile-de-France region at your own pace, enjoying incredible exhibitions, exceptional events and bucolic strolls. For this year's event, the Musée de la Vie romantique takes us right back to the 19th century. With exhibitions, concerts, lectures and walks, there's plenty to keep young and old alike dreaming! It's also an opportunity to discover this poetic museum and its verdant terrace.
A bucolic haven of peace in the heart of the 9th arrondissement, it immediately transports us to theRomantic era. Visits to this small museum, nestled in the Hôtel Scheffer-Renan, are free of charge and offer a change of scenery. There's also a charming tea room, but it's the works of George Sand and Ary Scheffer that are most represented in the permanent collections. Every year, exhibitions allow us to discover the figures who shaped the Romantic period. This weekend, we're enjoying a walking tour, pretty stories and an exhilarating concert.
