In the museum
Discover the museum's collections, focusing on Camille Pissarro and his contemporaries. A special focus will be devoted to the painter Emilio Boggio. Originally from Venezuela, a friend of the Impressionists and of Pissarro in particular, Emilio Boggio produced post-impressionist paintings of Pontoise, Auvers (where he lived) and l'Isle-Adam.
The museum's book sale will also be back.
"There are those famous paintings, each of which tells a story, a context, an atmosphere... What if a Pissarro painting came to life to tell you the story of this moment chosen by the artist? This is the theatrical and pictorial experience we propose in the garden of the Musée Pissarro! You'll be able to see the painting on display and the painting... alive!"
