On Monday March 16 and Tuesday 17, the Moulin Rouge celebrates Saint Patrick’s Day by turning green!

Every year, at the same period, Saint Patrick’s Day goes wild. If in the United Kingdom, the Irish Patron Saint will be celebrated as can be on March 17, in France – and especially Paris – also expects to celebrate the event with a series of events. From the Irish Cultural Center to 100% Irish pubs in town and special parties, there’s something for everyone.

The iconic Moulin Rouge also plans to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day its way. Meet on Monday March 16 and Tuesday 17, 2020 to discover the famous Parisian building lit in green.

On the occasion, the Moulin Rouge expects you from March 16 at 8 p.m. for the launch with 14 dancers from the Moulin Rouge, Moulin Rouge lead dancer Claudine Van den Bergh and her sister Isabelle Cooke, both Irish and his Excellency the Ambassador of Ireland in Paris, Patricia O’Brien.

To admire the Moulin Rouge lit in green, head to the Place Blanche on March 16 from 8 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. and on March 17 from 4:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.

With this green light, the Moulin Rouge – that celebrated its 130th anniversary this past October – joins the long list of monuments taking part in Saint Patrick’s Day these past few years such as the Empire State Building, the Sydney Opera House or even the Gizeh pyramids…

To discover the Moulin Rouge but green, be there on March 16 and 17, 2020.
