A new weekend of work on the RATP and SNCF networks in the Île-de-France region is scheduled from Saturday January 11 to Sunday January 12, 2025, to make progress on the Grand Paris construction projects, future metro line extensions or simply to keep the network in good condition. Is there going to be a lot of work this time, or is it going to be a quiet weekend? Beware of traffic disruptions and train cancellations, which sometimes need to be anticipated well in advance to avoid unpleasant surprises!
This weekend, three RER lines, two Transilien lines and none of the metro lines are affected. To find alternative routes if you need to travel, the Transilien SNCF website offers alternatives, with buses regularly scheduled to serve stations.
Traffic will be interrupted between Le Bourget and Aulnay-sous-Bois.
Reduced train frequency between Invalides and Viroflay Rive Gauche. No RER C trains between Viroflay Rive Gauche and Saint-Quentin en Yvelines.
Traffic is interrupted between Combs-la-Ville and Melun, and between Corbeil-Essonnes and Melun.
Traffic is interrupted between Paris Gare du Nord and Mitry - Claye.
Trains are rerouted via Corbeil-Essonnes, extending journey times by up to 20 minutes.
