SNCF: disruption to night trains to the South of France expected in early 2025

After the news about theIntercités de Nuit line linking Paris to Briançon in the Hautes-Alpes region, there's more news, this time about the various night train lines linking the Gare d'Austerlitz in Paris and various destinations in the South of France.

Serving Toulouse, La Tour de Carol, Albi or Rodez, the Intercités de Nuit lines have been particularly popular in recent years, and for good reason: they allow you to reach a station from Paris without wasting time, since you can spend the night - and therefore sleep - on the train. However, during the months of January, February and March 2025, the lines will be closed at times, due to construction work.

Disruptions to be expected on the Intercités de Nuit network at the start of the year:

• Paris > Toulouse: Wednesday February 5, Wednesday February 11, Tuesday March 4, Saturday March 15, Saturday March 22, Monday March 24, Saturday March 29
• Toulouse > Paris: Thursday February 6, Wednesday February 12, Wednesday March 5, Saturday March 15, Saturday March 22, Saturday March 29
• Paris > La Tour de Carol: Saturday 15 March, Saturday 22 March, Saturday 29 March
• La Tour de Carol > Paris: Saturday 15 March, Saturday 22 March, Saturday 29 March
• Paris > Rodez: Saturday 15 March, Saturday 22 March, Saturday 29 March
• Rodez > Paris: Saturday 15 March, Saturday 22 March, Saturday 29 March

For the rest of the year, notably from June to November, construction work should not disrupt the transport plan.
