The Fontainebleau forest is a paradise for hikers and rock climbers, so in the heart of this natural paradise, you can also enjoy an even more unusual hike, with sled dogs.

A Mecca for rock climbers and hikers, with the famous 25 moguls circuit known for its particularly steep gradients, the Fontainebleau forest is one of the most beautiful natural areas to discover in the Île-de-France region. To discover this beautiful area in a slightly more unusual way - and a little less sporty - a train also takes you through the forest aboard historic carriages and locomotives. Even more unusual, thePays de Fontainebleau Tourist Office offers you the chance to board a kart pulled by sled dogs for a ride in the heart of the Île-de-France countryside.

Guided by Christian Perlwtiz, state-qualified sports educator and creator of Évasion Canine, you embark on an hour-and-a-half ride guided by a dozen sled dogs through one of the most beautiful forests in the Paris region.

To take part in this beautiful walk in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest, it is nevertheless essential to book online, and to be a group of no more than 4 people (minimum one person), all of whom must be at least one year old. Each participant will need to bring his or her own protective eyewear (prescription, sunglasses or plastic) for the walk: cost €55 per person, €40 for under-10s, with preferential rates available if you opt for a weekday walk (excluding school vacations). The introductory ride is accessible to people with reduced mobility: please note, however, that the maximum weight per person is 95 kg (the kart cannot support more than 230 kg). Let's go for a ride as unusual as it is fun in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest!
