To link the capital to one of the jewels of France's heritage, there was already a major cycle path over 450 kilometers long, the Véloscénie. From December 20, 2024, the link will be provided by a direct train, with particularly attractive low fares.
Normally, the line was only open during the high season, from spring to the end of September, to enable tourists who flocked to Mont Saint-Michel to discover this site, one of the first to be included on the UNESCO heritage list. From December 20, 2024, the direct train to Pontorson station in the Manche department will resume service every weekend, all year round.
The ticket will also include the cost of the shuttle bus to the site from the nearest station (Pontorson). So, for a one-way ticket from Paris to Mont Saint-Michel, you can now book your tickets on the SNCF website at attractive prices, starting at €29 per ticket!
For the more courageous, get on your bike for the outward journey along the Véloscénie, and take advantage of this direct line for your return!
