With the arrival of storm Floriane, Paris is bracing itself for strong winds this January 6, 2025. On Monday, Météo France placed the capital and the rest of the Île-de-France region under vigilance orange for the risk of high winds.
According to the weather service, the strongest gusts are expected this Monday in the Paris region between 10am and 1pm. They could reach"80 to 90 km/h, locally 100 to 110 km/h", warns Météo France, adding that this gale is expected to be "fairly brief",lasting "between 1 and 3 hours at a given point". The wind is expected to weaken from the west in the early afternoon.
