The winter vacations are coming to an end, and it's time to get back on the road. This brings with it a number of traffic problems. This weekend, Bison futé is noting heavy traffic on major roads, mainly in the homeward direction. Roads are therefore classified as orange on Saturday March 1 and Sunday March 2 in Paris and the Ile-de-France region.
From Friday February 28, difficulties will be visible, particularly in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region on the routes leading to ski resorts. In the Île-de-France region, the first disruptions are expected at the end of the day on the major routes. However, this is the ideal day to avoid traffic jams, as Bison Futé forecasts "usual" traffic for both departures and returns.
Saturday March 1, rated orange by Bison Futé, will see heavy traffic, particularly on the A6 freeway between the afternoon and evening. On Sunday March 2, the situation will be similar, with heavy traffic on the A6 and A10 motor ways as a result of mass returns to the capital.
