Her name is Eiffela, and on a plaque it says that she is the daughter of the Eiffel Tower. No, this is not an April Fool's joke, but a strange experience that Parisians and tourists will be able to live from April 1st to 10th. A second Eiffel Tower has appeared on the Champ-de-Mars, not far from the original one. To tell you the truth, at first we thought it was an April 1st joke, so we got on our best Vélib' to check it out for ourselves and indeed, this little Eiffel Tower is real! Believe our pictures.
As you can see from a greater distance, this second Eiffel Tower is much smaller than the original one, it measures only 32 meters, compared to the 330 meters of its mother, you can see the difference!
This unusual appearance comes from Philippe Maindron from the Vendée. His creation is visible in Maine-et-Loire since 2016. But for the first time, it arrives in Paris to make us see double!
