It's finally possible to take the metro toOrly airport in the south of Paris! No longer needing to take the bus, RER or Orlyval shuttle to catch your flight, you'll now be able to get there with the brand-new line 14, thanks to the long-awaited extension. But as with the RER B toCharles-de-Gaulle airport, you'll have to pay a little more, and buy a special ticket, except for those with a Navigo pass, who won't have to pay any extra.

Eagerly awaited by many Parisians and public transport users, the extension of line 14 is scheduled to enter service in June 2024. 8 new stations will be added, including Aéroport d'Orly, the new terminus to the south of the line. From June 24, 2024, for the first time ever, we'll be able to reach an airport via the RATP, rather than by RER! It's a small revolution, and one that's more accessible, faster and more convenient than previous means of transport, but one that won't help the finances of tourists and occasional users!
