A Daffodil against cancer at the Pantheon, the solidarity village to be discovered in spring 2025

TheInstitut Curie celebrates the 21st edition of its Une Jonquille contre le cancer operationfrom March 11 to 23, 2025. The aim of this annual event is to mobilize the French public in the cause of cancer. This flower, used by Institut Curie to help fund research, has become the symbol of the fight against this terrible disease. Every euro raised during this fund-raising campaign helps to give cancer sufferers a better chance of going into remission.

Every year, a number of events are organized throughout the month of March to raise public awareness of this cause. In Paris, the center of operations is located at the Panthéon: from March 11 to 23, a Daffodil Village awaits us, featuring a solidarity store and various events open to all.

Visitors to the solidarity village will be able to collect donations, buy jars of daffodils and related items, and take part in solidarity events.

This new edition takes stock of all the advances made over the last 20 years, and of what's in store for the next 20. The Institut Curie continues to emphasize prevention: the earlier a tumor or recurrence is detected, the greater the chances of a cure for patients. In the fight against cancer, screening and early diagnosis are major challenges for which the development of new strategies is essential. Research is already moving forward at the Institut Curie to develop ever more innovative, precise and sensitive technologies.

It's a step forward, and it's also thanks to you! Put on your sneakers and take part in the " Daffodil Run Against Cancer " connected challenge, which turns energy into donations, with 1 euro donated to the Institut Curie for every kilometer run. Register online or at the " Village Jonquille " on the Place du Panthéon in Paris from March 11 to 23 to take part.
