Killing two birds with one stone: that's the mission set by theRejoué association with its solidarity-based concept, which enables used toys to be reused, while at the same time providing professional support for men and women who are far from employment.
The store is located on rue du Château, in the 14th arrondissement, and opens every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 11am to 7pm. Here, everything is done to offer you games and toys just like in a conventional store, the only difference being that the price is much lower. On average, Rejoué estimates that in-store toy prices are 60% lower than new equivalents. It's a great way to pamper your wallet, but above all, it's a great way to give a second life to refurbished objects.
How does it work? Games, toys and books are collected from private individuals or companies, then sorted, cleaned, tested and refurbished, before being sold at very low prices. In short, if you're looking for a stylish yet socially responsible gift idea, Rejoué is the place to go.
The people who refurbish the toys are men and women with social and professional difficulties, to whom Rejoué gives a second chance by offering them useful employment in its inclusion workshop. Over the past 10 years, the association has refurbished hundreds of thousands of toys. In 2021 alone, more than 66,000 toys have been refurbished, and the Rejoué association has supported 63 people in their professional lives. This makes Rejoué a truly useful concept, offering particularly attractive deals for families.
