It's still autumn, but next week promises to be colder than previous ones in Paris and the Île-de-France region. New disturbances are expected in France, after the calmer weather of recent days. La Chaîne Météo, which refers to a"polar air stall", is predicting the arrival of a cold, wet air mass early next week. What does this mean? Temperatures below seasonal averages (1 to 3°C below average) are expected. " The combination of wind, rain and cold will certainly have a gloomy feel to it," says the specialist site.
The Paris region will not be spared. While Monday looks set to be rainy, it's from Tuesday November 19 that the mercury will really start to drop. In the early hours of the morning, it will be between 4°C and 6°C, compared with 7°C and 9°C the day before. In the afternoon, temperatures will barely rise, and will be between 5°C and 8°C in the Île-de-France region. Add to this the possibility of rain, and you have a very gloomy outlook.
On Wednesday November 20, the mercury will still be dropping in the early morning, between 2°C and 4°C. Little change in the afternoon, with temperatures fluctuating between 3°C and 6°C. On the other hand, a few sunny spells are forecast, before rain returns in the evening.
The sun is set to shine a little brighter on Thursday, November 21. But the mercury is expected to be cool, between 1°C and 3°C in the morning. Possible snowflakes could even fall near Magny-en-Vexin, in northern Val-d'Oise, according to Météo France. Little change in the afternoon, with temperatures between 2°C and 5°C.
Finally, for Friday November 22, Météo France forecasts little change, with the mercury again fluctuating between 1°C and 3°C in the early morning, then between 3°C and 5°C in the afternoon. The weather is expected to be dry and sunny.
We'll have to wait until Saturday November 23rd for the mercury to rise slightly in the afternoon, reaching 8°C to 9°C.
For the time being, these are only forecasts. They may change over the coming days. So stay tuned.
