Chinese New Year at Bastille 2025: shows, gastronomy and entertainment await you

On the occasion of Chinese New Year, the Bastille district is transformed once again to welcome the Year of the Snake through an exceptional celebration on January 25, 2025. Organized by theAssociation Culturelle et Médiatique Franco-Chinois (ACMFC), the day promises to be a wonderful discovery of Chinese food and traditions. Let's discover this festival with its varied program of shows, gastronomy and interactive workshops in the heart of the Bastille market!

Entertainment awaits you all day long, from 12:00 to 21:00, with over 40 stands. From midday onwards, you'll be able to stroll between the stands of a gourmet village, discover captivating shows, take part in cultural workshops, and immerse yourself in an art exhibition combining tradition and innovation.

At 4pm, the opening ceremony launches the main show, a fascinating blend oftraditional Chinese art and contemporary touches. Lion dances, enchanting music and surprising visual performances promise to amaze spectators.

The gourmet village, set up along Rue Gastronomique, invites you to a culinary exploration of Chinese flavors, with authentic and modern specialties ideal for satisfying young and old gourmets alike.

An art exhibition will highlight China's rich cultural heritage through never-before-seen works. Local and international artists will revisit traditional symbols, offering a visual experience that links past and future.
