Nuit blanche 2024: a night of Caribbean rhythms at the Sunset & Sunside jazz club

The Nuit Blanche in Paris is an exceptional evening during which lovers ofcontemporary art can enjoy hundreds of events scattered all over the capital and its surroundings. But the Nuit Blanche is also a sleepless night, spent partying and having fun!

And that's just what the jazz club Sunset & Sunside, located on rue des Lombards in the 1st arrondissement, has to offer. This nightclub is typical of the area: situated between rue de Rivoli, the Centre Pompidou and the Halles district, rue des Lombards is home to the 1st arrondissement's top jazz clubs. A true paradise for jazz and music lovers!

For this 23rd edition of Nuit Blanche, the Sunset & Sunside club is offering musical entertainment all evening long, to keep you vibrating at the heart of art until the wee hours of the morning. Between two exhibitions or artistic performances organized at the other Nuit Blanche sites, come and enjoy the jazz music and themed concerts organized especially for this unique event!

On theprogram for this fiery evening of celebration:

• Concert
  On the occasion of the "nuit blanche" (white night) celebrating the French overseas territories this year, the Sunside will be focusing on jazz made in the Caribbean, with Franck Nicolas, a musician from the West Indies who can't be ignored, playing conch shells and trumpet. Franck Nicolas dresses up as the "light of the Caribbean" with his Sunside trumpet and his shells that sing of the turquoise sea...
  For this event, he will perform Miles Davis standards with his Jazz-Ka color, but also compositions with his resolutely Guadeloupean and poetic approach to jazz... He will be accompanied by Ralph Lavital on guitar, Dominique Tauliaut & Laurent Succab on Ka.
