Olympics 2024: which channel to watch the opening ceremony and the Paris Olympics on?

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games opening ceremony and events will soon be in the news. If you don't have tickets to see them in person, they're obviously being broadcast on TV! On which channel?

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games are this summer's showpiece event in the capital! If you haven't got tickets for either the Olympic events or the Opening Ceremony on July 26, you'll be just as likely to be in front of the TV, comfortably seated with family or friends, at home or in the bars and fan zones of the Paris region!

Like all the Games, they will be broadcast live on the France Télévisions group channels: France 2, France 3 and France 4, as well as on Eurosport. The Opening Ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m. sharp, French time, and will not end until dusk, three hours later, on Friday, July 26, 2024.

There's no doubt that the capital'sbars, where Euro and Champions League matches are watched, will also be streaming the events, for Parisians and tourists alike! But even better, the whole region has joined forces to create real spaces of sporting communion throughout the region. In Paris, some twenty free fan zones have been set up, open until 11 p.m. every day, with the competition shown on giant screens!

In Ile-de-France, the cities of Vincennes, Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and La Courneuve have pulled out all the stops, with a host of events and surprises to keep you buzzing throughout the Paris 2024 Olympic Games!
