Pastry chef Nina Métayer , who has worked in the kitchens of Le Meurice, Le Grand Restaurant and Le Café Pouchkine, and who has her own online patisserie, Délicatisserie, as well as a tea room corner at Printemps du Goût, has come up with 3 lovely Valentine's Day creations this year. A chocolate and vanilla duo and a beautiful flower for lovers to share.
For Valentine's Day 2023, chef Nina Métayer proposes a duo of Câlins. The chocolate Câlin. version features a flowing heart spiced with Timut pepper, a cookie subtly enhanced with olive oil for a lovely roundness, and a light 72% chocolate mousse. The Câlin vanille is made with Breton shortbread, a cookie with pecan chips, hazelnut praline, a light mousse and Madagascar vanilla cream - we love it. Count on 15€ for the duo or 8.50€ each for the individual version.
This year, we're also back with the Fleur d' Amour we loved so much last year! Imagine a light, airy, floral pastry that combines a light fromage blanc mousse with blackcurrant flower water, pear, grapefruit and hibiscus confit, almond gene bread, all on a crunchy crumble of millet seeds and raw almonds. This creation, as delicious as it is beautiful, can be enjoyed until February 19, 2023 for €7.50.
Treat yourself or someone else this Valentine's Day?
