For its 12th edition, the Cinema For Change festival takes place in Paris from April 11 to 16, 2023 at the Grand Rex and online. The festival highlights cinema that defends humanist values, whether documentary or fiction. The selection criteria for this year's festival films are the 17 themes of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals campaign, which runs from 2016 to 2030.
Cinema For Change offers a selection of short and feature-length films, all presented by their crews, who will remain after the screening for a discussion. An honorary prize will also be awarded to Mélanie Laurent, for her actions in support of ecology.
Films judged by a jury chaired by Abderrahmane Sissako. Cinema For Change also has an online component, with a wealth of content available free of charge on the YouTube and Dailymotion channels of the same name.
