Every year since 2010, the Nikon Film Festival has put short films in competition. In 2023, the theme of the film festival was "The Number 13", and almost 2,200 films were entered. The winners were announced on Friday April 21.

The Nikon Film Festival, created in 2010, returns this year with its 13th edition. This film festival dedicated to very short films is offered entirely online and free of charge. This year's theme was "The Number 13", and 2229 filmmakers submitted their films. The only rule was that the film had to be 2 minutes and 20 seconds long. No more, no less.

And all these short films can be viewed free of charge on the festival website. After several weeks of competition, the jury - chaired by Alexandre Astier, and including Caroline Anglade, Mariama Gueye, Pio Marmaï, Luciole, François Descraques, Maud Chalard, Romain Quirot, Guillemette Odicino, Pascale Faure, David Bertrand and Alexandre Dino - revealed the winners at the awards ceremony on Friday April 21, 2023, at the Grand Rex in Paris.
