Directed by Benoît Chieux and Alain Gagnol, the French-Belgian animated feature Sirocco et le royaume des courants d'air takes us to another world, to the Kingdom of the Draughts, with Juliette and Carmen, the two heroines of the story. Scheduled for release in cinemas on December 13, just before the Christmas vacations!
Join Juliette and Carmen, two adventurous sisters, on a family adventure to discover the Kingdom of the Draughts! Somewhat magically, they've both discovered a secret passageway to the world of their favorite book, the Kingdom of the Draughts: in no time at all, the two little girls set off to discover this world they know so well. During their journey, they must find the courage to confront Sirocco, the master of winds and storms who seems intent on reigning over the entire kingdom... The film opened the Annecy International Film Festival in 2023 and won the Audience Award.
Juliette and Carmen, two intrepid sisters aged 4 and 8, discover a secret passage to Le Royaume des Courants d'Air, their favorite book. Transformed into cats and separated from each other, they'll have to be bold and daring to find their way back. With the help of the singer Selma, they attempt to return to the real world, confronting Sirocco, the master of winds and storms... But is he as terrifying as they imagine?
