The first trailer for Dragon Ball: Daima was revealed at New York Comic-Con. This new anime derived from the Dragon Ball manga was supervised and written by Akira Toriyama himself, the manga's author. The new series is scheduled for release in 2024, the 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball.
According to the first images, this new series will rejuvenate all the main characters, reminiscent of the beginning of Dragon Ball GT. For the moment, no synopsis has been released, and we don't know what direction this anime will take, or how long it will last.
Since 2013 and the release of the feature film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, releases around the Dragon Ball license have followed one another almost every year. The latest release is Dragon Ball: Super Hero, which will be released in cinemas in October 2022.
