Netflix 's flagship series returns soon... On March 14, 2024, the SVOD platform unveiled a first teaser for season 7 of Black Mirror, expected in 2025. The announcement was made at the Next on Netflix event at London's Picturehouse Central. A teaser that doesn't show much, but does give some information about the six episodes planned.

What do we learn from this teaser? Apart from the number of episodes, one of them will be a sequel to one of the series' well-known episodes. In this case, it's a sequel to"USS Callister", a season 4 episode starring Cristin Milioti and Jesse Plemons. Note that both actors could reprise their respective roles in the episode in question (fingers crossed). As for the other episodes, no information has yet been released.
And while we wait for a more concrete trailer, a more precise release date or even a minimum of de rigueur information, we're taking a look back at previous seasons of Black Mirror, and in particular season 4, to catch up on the"USS Callister" episode. Ready to head back into space in Star Trek mode?
