On the occasion of World Star Wars Day, May 4, 2024, fans of the intergalactic saga have the privilege of discovering a new series based on the space saga on Disney+: Star Wars: Tales of the Empire. This animated series, produced by Lucasfilm, adds to the already dense universe of George Lucas. The series is the second chapter in the "Tales" saga, which began in 2022, and promises to dazzle us with its singular style and aestheticism.
Although casting details are still shrouded in mystery, Dave Filoni is behind the project as creator, director and executive producer, alongsideAthena Yvette Portillo, Carrie Beck, Alex Spotswood and Josh Rimes. These first images promise a dive into the intricacies of theGalactic Empire, with direction and storytelling that will live up to the expectations of the franchise's most ardent fans.
