Les Créneaux de la nuit de Blandy 2024, the free open-air cinema at Château de Blandy

Afree open-air film festival in a medieval castle? Join us on August 14, 21 and 28, 2024 for screenings combining sport, art and play in the superb setting of the Château de Blandy-Les-Tours. Would you like to enjoy movie evenings in the comfort of deckchairs under the stars?

3 iconic films will be screened to the delight of young and old alike: "Kung Fu Panda 2", "Rasta Rockett" and "Invictus". It's the perfect opportunity to spend some convivial time with family and friends, in a castle of timeless charm.

• On August 14, we rediscover the animated film "Kung Fu Panda 2", in which Po and his friends, the Five Cyclones, defend the Valley of Peace against a new enemy threatening China. A thrilling adventure that will delight children and adults alike, reminding us of the importance of inner strength and personal roots in overcoming challenges.
  
  
• On August 21, it's comedy time with "Rasta Rockett", the inspiring true story of four Jamaicans who dream of competing in the Winter Olympics in bobsleigh. This film is a true ode to perseverance and team spirit, capable of making people laugh and move them at the same time.
  
  
• Finally, on August 28, "Invictus" closes this cycle with a powerful tale of reconciliation and national unity. Set in 1994, the film highlights the role of Nelson Mandela and rugby in bringing together a divided post-apartheid nation. An evening of history and courage, ideal for reflection and rejuvenation.

Admission is free, but please bring blankets and folding chairs for added comfort. In addition to the films, the evening will be enlivened by the Pop Corn 007 brass band, proposing a fun blind test to add a playful touch to these events.

Please note the recommended ages for each film (9 for "Kung Fu Panda 2", 6 for "Rasta Rockett" and 7 for "Invictus"). Pets are not allowed in the castle, with the exception of guide dogs.
