The Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte in Seine-et-Marne is offering free admission to anyone with the same first name as a French gold medalist from the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games until September 8. A discount is also available for the first names of silver and bronze medalists.

Attention sports and heritage fans! The Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, located in Seine-et-Marne, is offering a most original initiative to celebrate the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Until September 8, anyone with the same first name as a French gold medallist will receive free admission to visit this 17th-century architectural masterpiece. The announcement was made on the Château's Instagram account.

The offer doesn't stop there. For those who share their first name with a silver or bronze medallist, the château is offering a reduced rate of 13.50 euros instead of 17 euros. This offer also extends to Paralympic medallists, as soon as their first names are known. Proof of identity will suffice to confirm homonymity and access these benefits. Free tickets are valid for daytime visits only, and can be booked online by selecting the"zero euro invitation" or reduced rate option.
