Since the start of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, fan zones have been putting on a show in Paris and everywhere else in the Île-de-France region. Club France, located in La Villette, was sold out last weekend. While many people go there to watch the sporting events, others like to enjoy the unique atmosphere and the various activities on offer for the occasion. There are plenty of concerts, as at the Parc des Jeux in La Courneuve and in the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines fan zone.
Another popular spot with Parisians? " Station Afrique " in Seine-Saint-Denis. Set up in the Robert-César stadium, the fan zone on L'Île-Saint-Denis attracts many curious onlookers. The venue has already played host to such talented artists as Oxmo Puccino, Magic System, Black M, Ronisia and, more recently, Youssou N'Dour.
Next artist scheduled to set the "Station Afrique " stage alight? Franglish, the famous French rapper, singer and dancer of Congolese and Togolese origin.
The artist, who is due to take over the hugeAccor Arena in Paris in spring 2025, will be offering a free concert on Wednesday August 7, 2024 in L'Île-Saint-Denis. Needless to say, fans will be out in force. So, a word of advice: don't arrive late if you want to enjoy this concert from the front row! On its social networks, the commune of L'Île-Saint-Denis states that the concert is free and accessible without reservation.
Note that the festivities at " Station Afrique " are scheduled to run until August 11, 2024.
