Sylvie Colonna(Isabelle Nanty), president of the Haricots d'Arpajon soccer club, and her new partner José Pinto(Didier Bourdon) are struggling to keep their Portuguese restaurant, Churrasco, in Pontault-Combault, going. Their son Manu, a slightly lost thirty-something, dreams of becoming a soccer agent. His luck seems to change when he discovers Kidane, a young football prodigy. Seeing in him an opportunity to get out of their difficulties, Manu and his family decide to bet everything on this talent. To succeed, they call on Alain Colonna(Gérard Lanvin), Sylvie's ex-husband, who lives in peaceful retirement in Tahiti. Together, they will have to face the redoubtable DZ, an influential and unscrupulous agent, in the hope of offering Kidane a place at his dream club: PSG.
