Mutations is a new experience to be enjoyed in Paris, mixing escape game, immersive theater and VR laser game. In teams of 4 to 8 people, we have 2 hours to search a disused hospital for the cure that will save the world from the epidemic. Except we're not alone... Are you in the mood? MUTATIONS by Geekopolis is the ultimate experience for friends. Imagine an experience that mixes escape game, immersive theater and virtual reality: it took 4 years of work and breaking-in to finalize MUTATIONS. In 2017, when it was first presented, an RMC journalist described it as "a horror film in which you are the hero": that's all it took for us to go and see what's going on, after plucking up our courage.

This 2-hour adventure takes us to Saint-Denis, in former disused factories. We're warned that the world has been contaminated by a molecule that turns the infected into zombies. Our group has been chosen and our mission is to infiltrate the place where it all began and find the cure...

Aspace-game theme we've seen before? We thought so, until we were told that instead of being locked in a room, we'd have to search an old hospital and get to level -13... Is this a joke? It's only half a joke, as the space is 1,200 m²!

The stage is set, and from the very first minutes, we're in the universe... Scary noises, half-lighting, the honor film begins. And it doesn't miss a beat... one by one, we meet a frightening, unsettled woman who is trying to lure us into her laboratory, then security guards who think they're on top of everything, even though they've lost control of nothing. Negotiation, search, research and technical trials await our group for over an hour, before the final test... the fight with the infected zombies.

The kind of VR combat that's being done nowadays, with salvos of zombies coming at us from all sides, makes for great group cohesion! After 25 minutes of combat, whether or not we've saved the Earth, we climb back up from the 13th floor, exhausted and exhausted... There's a bar and snack bar on site, where you can recharge your batteries after the fight with potions, beers, croques and pizza on a comfortable sofa, which is a nice touch!

Although Geekopolis is more expensive than other escape games in Paris, its price (60 euros per person) is explained by the stunning setting and the many players we meet along the way: we applaud you and recommend that you do it with your best friends!
