Sims 4: which packs are right for you? The complete guide

The Sims 4 base game has been free for all since October 2022. But its DLC is still not free. 17 expansion packs, 12 game packs, 20 item kits and 35 mini-kits, all for the sum of 1,294.16 euros. Not all players have such a budget. And they don't have to: this DLC is not essential, and serves only to deepen and enrich the gaming experience, according to players' tastes.

So, not all of these packs are essential: if you like realistic gaming, vampires or mermaids probably won't be of much interest to you. Similarly, if you're only interested in the creation and architecture of the game, then the packs that focus more on gameplay or Sims clothing may not be for you.
