Want to get your Sims dancing to Céline Dion or Jul songs? It's perfectly possible! We explain how to add the music of your choice to the game.

At every age, Sims love to dance. Sometimes a little too much... If left to their own devices, some Sims would spend all day in front of the radio, swaying their hips, doing the cow-sim dance and raising their arms in the air. But after all, maybe that's the secret to happiness? How about dancing with your Sims, too?

Here's an argument that might convince you to throw a party with your Sims. In The Sims 4, players can integrate the songs of their choice into the game. Yes, yes: you can add any music you like, and play it in your party! The technique is quick and easy. Soon, all your Sims will be able to dance to the greatest hits by Beyoncé, BTS or Charles Aznavour.

To do this, you first need to obtain a sound file in MP3 format (older players will remember the sound converter tools...). Once your music has been converted into an MP3 file, locate your Electronic Arts folder. Click on it, then on The Sims 4 folder. Several sub-folders will appear, containing your game saves, screenshots... And a folder called "Custom music".

Clicking on Custom music opens yet more folders. Here you'll find all the music integrated into the game, classified according to genre: country music, classical music, Latin pop, children's music...

The rest is easy: just copy your MP3 song file into the music genre folder of your choice! Then launch your game and switch on the radio to the appropriate station, and your song should be heard.

So it's time to recreate your favorite artist in The Sims 4, add all his or her songs to your music folder, and organize a private concert, just for you and your Sims!
