The Sims 4 Cosy Festivities Event: a challenge to win new holiday items

An update has arrived, bringing some very nice gifts to our games... A new event begins this December 3, 2024 in The Sims 4. Until January 10, 2025, take part in the Cosy Festivities, and win new items and accessories for your Sims.

This free event, which requires only the base game to run, lets you earn exclusive content by completing a series of missions, unlocked each week. A fun challenge to get you into the holiday spirit, and perhaps discover some of the game's little-known features.

More specifically, the Cosy Festivities event offers missions to interact with household members, friends or neighbors, creating a more united and joyful community, united around seasonal decorations. EA also invites us to discover festive traditions from around the world through these quests.

Among the rewards to be obtained during this event are Christmas sweaters (ugly... or not), a retro games console, a television that turns into decorative paint, a scarf, decorative Christmas wreaths, doormats, fun slippers, a new personality trait...

So how do you get all this? To start the event in your game, download the update, then launch a game in Life mode. For three weeks, new quests will appear in your game's "Life" mode. You'll have objectives and tasks to complete, to earn points. These points will unlock rewards as you go along, just as they did in theprevious event. Among the tasks shown in the teaser are dancing, singing holiday songs, researching holiday traditions, preparing a new dish, making hot chocolate...

If our experience with the two previous Sims events is anything to go by, these quests are quick to complete, and the rewards are easy to unlock. The different phases of the event are organized over three weeks, and this challenge lasts a month and a half: even without being very assiduous, you should have time to earn all your rewards.

Here we go: turn on your computer or console, and celebrate the festive season with your Sims! Don't forget to put up your tree so that Father Winter can drop off presents...
