Confirmation for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater... During the PlayStation State of Play conference on February 12, 2025, Konami officially revealed the release date for the remaster of its cult game, after a leak on the PlayStation Store a few days ago. Join us on August 28, 2025 to discover the adventures of Naked Snake. The game was previously shown at several presentations, including a PlayStation Showcase, two Xbox Partner Showcases, and at the Tokyo Game Show on September 27!
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, or MGS 3, plunges us into the middle of the Cold War, where we play as Naked Snake, an elite soldier dispatched into hostile territory to retrieve a Russian scientist. The game, considered a cornerstone of the saga, has been revealed with a new name: Metal Gear Solid Delta. The game will be released on the latest-generation consoles, namely the PS5 and Xbox Series, as well as on PC.
Konami seems to be planning a major comeback for its iconic franchise... Whatever the case, we can't wait to see The Pain and his swarm, or The Sorrow, perhaps one of the creepiest bosses in the franchise... In the meantime, we'll be waiting with bated breath for Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.1? To your controllers!
