After months of rumors and speculation, Rockstar Games has finally confirmed the return of its classic hit Red Dead Redemption! A port of the game, not a remake, has been announced with an impressive new trailer. Studio Double Eleven, known for its work on ports of games such as Minecraft Dungeons and Goat Simulator, will be responsible for the project. The ported version will also incorporate Undead Nightmare, the game's highly acclaimed expansion.
On August 17, the beloved Western experience Red Dead Redemption and its horror companion Undead Nightmare arrive together for the first time on the Nintendo Switch and modern PlayStation systems.

The Red Dead Red emption port will be available exclusively on PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, no PS5 version has been announced, although the PS4 version is backwards compatible (and therefore playable on PS5).Xbox users will also be disappointed, as no version for these consoles is planned. The port may offer hypothetical improvements in image definition and framerate, and will be translated into new languages, including Chinese, Korean, Polish and Brazilian Portuguese.
The port of the game will be released on August 17 as a dematerialized version on PS4 and Switch for 49.99 euros, with a boxed version scheduled for October 13. A great opportunity for those who have never played the very first game in the franchise, before tackling its sequel. So get set!
