A plunge into the American West... Rockstar Games' hit Red Dead Redemption is now available on PC, accompanied by its Undead Nightmare narrative extension. Originally launched on consoles, this classic video game follows the story of John Marston, a former outlaw seeking to eliminate the last members of his old gang. The addition of the Undead Nightmare DLC reinterprets this universe, introducing an apocalyptic dimension featuring the undead. This new version benefits from several PC-specific optimizations, including 4K resolution and support for ultra-wide screens.
For its PC version, Red Dead Redemption carries over the improvements from the Nintendo Switch and PS4 versions, to which optimized features have been added. Players can now enjoy up to 4K resolution at 144 Hz with compatible hardware, as well as support for HDR10, NVIDIA's DLSS 3.7 scaling and AMD's FSR 3.0. Other options allow you to adapt graphical parameters, such as shadow quality and display distance, making for a more immersive gaming experience for PC users.
Minimum configuration (720p, 30 FPS, low settings)
Recommended configuration (1080p, 60 FPS, high settings)
Ultra configuration (4K, 60 FPS, ultra settings)
In addition to optimized graphics, this PC version offers full keyboard and mouse support. Both titles are offered in a bundle, including the official Red Dead Redemption soundtrack, produced by David Holmes and composed by Bill Elm and Woody Jackson. The bundle is available on the Rockstar Store, Steam and Epic Games, as well as on Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox, allowing players to revisit the American West and Mexican lands in a unique, nostalgic atmosphere.
