Are you looking for a place to have fun with your kids at the weekend? Good news then, especially if you're in Seine-Saint-Denis! Nikito is moving into the Domus shopping center in Rosny-sous-Bois, offering a whole host of fun activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Called Nikito Domus, this ambitious project promises to transform the former Alinéa space into a 10,000 m² playful megalopolis. Ideally located, the new leisure center is due to open its doors on April 6, 2024, coinciding with the opening of the metro line 11 extension.
The concept behind Nikito Domus is as bold as it is innovative. Usually, to achieve such a large surface area, leisure centers rely on extensive sports grounds. However, Nikito Domus breaks with this tradition by offering a varied range of indoor activities. Visitors can enjoy bowling, an electric go-kart track, or a unique experience with the Prison Island action game.
For those seeking a calmer experience, the site will also offer mini-golf, karaoke and quiz rooms, not to mention arcade and virtual reality games. Fans of more physical games will be delighted to discover augmented darts, a trampoline park and a laser game. In December 2024, the center will also welcome Immersive Gamebox, a new augmented reality/projection gaming space offering a wide range of experiences(Tetris, Squid Game, Black Mirror, Angry Birds, Pat'Patrouille, etc.).
In detail, there are two spaces:
Note that the park takes you on a galactic odyssey. Visitors enter through the rear of the ship's reactor, then discover each activity, represented by the 5 planets of the Nikito universe:
The project also integrates a social and cultural dimension with performance and conference spaces, as well as a varied F&B offering. The venue promises to be a crossroads for encounters and exchanges, energizing local life and attracting a varied public, from families and groups of friends to professionals looking for a venue for their Team Building, EVG, EVJF and other events. For children's birthdays, we offer a 1-hour activity + 45-minute snack in a dedicated room, for children aged 7-10 and over. And on Tuesdays, you can try out each activity for 30 euros admission.
Our test of Nikito Domus:
An indoor recreation area that we were able to discover... On the leisure side, it's very comprehensive, with a whole host of activities for all ages, whether you want to play with family or friends. We were tempted by laser tag, bowling, Prison Island, augmented reality darts and mini-golf...
We started our day with Prison Island... It's a lot of fun, suitable for families, and the brand offers events for sports kings and brainiacs alike. However, we regret the lack of explanation of the games in each cell. Most of the time, you don't understand what you have to do, and that's pretty frustrating. But that doesn't mean you can't have fun, as the"Fort Boyard"-style exercise requires investment and promises to be a great time! We certainly had a great time.
As for the bowling, it's classic, except that each game can be personalized, with mini-games to choose from on your lane's terminal. We tried our hand at a classic game, as well as one where you had to destroy a castle (as a team). The result: a great time trying to string together a series of strikes... Note that you don't need to rent bowling shoes.
For the laser game, the space is a little cramped, but that's a good thing. And with good reason: teams can face each other head-on, in a veritable intergalactic war the likes of which you rarely see. Special mention must be made of the layout of the decor (wall, floor...), which is completely in keeping with the cramped nature of the premises and makes it easy to get around.
As for mini-golf and augmented reality darts, these two activities make for a great end to the day. The darts are really fun, and the augmented reality (a projection on a dartboard) allows you to vary the pleasures and not get bored for a second (throwing darts at a dartboard with no decorum gets tiresome relatively quickly...). The mini-golf course is very classic, and some of the holes are rather difficult, but still very enjoyable.
On the food front, we were tempted by a really good pizza, tasty hot dogs and melting cheese nachos. Enough to fill the stomach before tackling the afternoon. All in all, Nikito Domus is a great place to visit and a lot of fun to discover, especially if you're coming with the family. In any case, it's sure to be a great time of fun with the kids. All you have to do is make up your own mind!
In short, a possible must-see destination for all entertainment fans in the Paris region! Now all we have to do is wait for it to open.
