A collaboration we didn't expect... On November 20, Stellar Blade, an action game developed by Shift Up, released its first DLC, bringing the universe of one of PlatinumGames and Square Enix 's cult games: NieR: Automata. The update includes new costumes, special items inspired by both games, and a brand-new photo mode. An opportunity for players to rediscover Stellar Blade in a whole new light.
This collaboration, the fruit of mutual respect between Kim Hyung Tae, director of Stellar Blade, and Yoko Taro, creator of NieR:Automata, notably introduces the character of Émile, dubbed by Mai Kadowaki. His store features eleven collaborative items that blend the universes of the two titles. According to the developers,"NieR:Automata is a game that greatly inspired Stellar Blade". This influence is reflected in the meticulous integration of these elements into the gameplay.
A DLC that only introduces this store, but still brings something refreshing to the saga. In addition to this collaboration, the DLC introduces an enriched photo mode allowing players to capture key moments in the game, with a multitude of filters and configurations. New outfits, including four costumes and an accessory modifying the appearance of Tachy mode, also diversify the cosmetic options. An update that promises to add depth to the player experience.
