A long-standing dream now within your grasp! Sony officially lifted the veil on the PS5 Pro on October 10, 2024, with a conference presenting the console, which has been available since November 7. Priced at €799.99(the console without the disc drive), this new version of the PS5 differs from the first PS5 in that it is more powerful than the PS5.
Two models will be available, one with an integrated disc drive (add 150 euros), the other without, offering gamers different options according to their preferences. A true technological jewel, destined to redefine video game standards.
This new version stands out for its performance, reaching 33.5 TeraFLOPS of computing power, more than three times that of the current PS5. A feat made possible by the new"Playstation Spectral Super Resolution" system, capable of improving fluidity without compromising the visual quality of games.
This technology, backed by publishers, will notably double the frame rate, for an even more immersive gaming experience. " We want to give gamers the graphics that developers want to see in their games," said Mark Cerny, PlayStation console architect.
